Chris and Susan Skellenger

Chris, long a fixture in the Leelanau County music scene, and his wife, Susan, have thrown their considerable talents and efforts into teaching folks to grow crops for consumption in a few corners of this troubled world. They are trying to smooth the rough edges. This is their mission statement: "To provide services, equipment, and personnel to organizations that are dedicated to combating poverty in developing countries - especially those teaching sustainable forms of subsistence agriculture to the world's poorest people."
